In 2026, CRI will host the third annual CRI Bioinformatics Bootcamp, an immersive, six-day, in-person training program focused on practical bioinformatics skills in immunology and cancer biology. The course combines expert-led lectures with hands-on analysis in bulk DNA/RNA sequencing, single-cell RNA sequencing, and spatial transcriptomics, along with opportunities for participants to work directly with their own datasets.
While the Bootcamp was originally designed for CRI-funded postdoctoral fellows, CRI see strong value in opening this opportunity more broadly to support the research ecosystem. Based on highly positive feedback from select non-CRI trainees invited last year, CRI is again offering a limited number of spots to non-CRI trainees. The course itself is free to attend; non-CRI participants are responsible for their travel and lodging.
The Bootcamp will be held May 16–21, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas. Applications are due March 6 and will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Space is limited.
